Our picture of church is often shaped by our past experiences of being a part of a church whether that be positive or negative. The early church, had their experience shaped by something different – God. In Acts we read about the first believers’ experience of church. It was characterised by God’s presence which transformed, empowered, inspired and flowed out through the lives of these believers. When God turns up, things happened. And our testimony in 2010 should be the same – “When God turns up, things happen!”
This series is about looking into the experience of the Early Christians to see how their lives were transformed by God. The obvious question is … If God has shown up in my life (and He has …) how should my life be transformed?
